Lynn May and Mike Jones

NWOC Event Directors

Lynn May and Mike Jones, found their love of aviation by volunteering at their local airshow.  Since that beginning in 2007, they started Buzz Around, Inc. and have provided event management, logistics services, lodging, transportation management, hospitality, and accounting operation management at hundreds of airshows across the country.  Working with the Disabled American Veterans Aviation Outreach Program for several years afforded them the opportunity to become familiar with warbirds and meet many of the warbird owners and operators.  Becoming involved in NWOC seemed to be a natural fit.  Lynn and Mike live in southern Indiana and love to travel serving the airshow community.

Kristin Schaick

Executive Director, EAA Warbirds of America

Kristin Schaick is a long-time aviation enthusiast raised in the well-known aviation small town in central United States called Oshkosh. Her passion for aviation began at an early age as she was exposed and caught the aviation bug as a convention volunteer with the Experimental Aviation Association (EAA) along side her father and Grandfather. As EAA’s convention developed into EAA AirVenture, Kristin developed her skills around the industry supporting AirVenture in a variety of capacities, ultimately landing in Warbirds; a place she has dedicated the greater part of her adult life. Employed at EAA since 1999, and for EAA Warbirds of America since 2012, Kristin’s current roll as Executive Director of EAA Warbirds of America, provides her the opportunity to serve her warbird family by supporting the mission to promote and encourage the preservation and operation of World War II and other such aircraft that are representative of military aviation operations in the “Keep ‘em Flying” spirit.
